Hi, it’s me Aniya!
The “brand guardian”
I’m no angel, but that doesn’t mean I can’t strive to be a servant to those in need.
My journey of servant leadership began when I studied Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University. During my time there, I worked as a peer consultant, assisting people with public speaking and presentation design. Being able to help people as they spoke on the widest variety of topics spoke to me in a way that almost screamed, “Aniya, your life’s purpose is to help people.”
I made the decision to explore this path a little more and chose to attend VCU Brandcenter to obtain my master’s degree in branding, specifically Creative Brand Management. My time here only fueled my passion even further.
While working with clients and teams, I was able to tackle issues surrounding that I care about like, food, sports marketing, photography, and women’s sexual reproductive health.
Nevertheless, from all these years spent in this “servant” mindset, I can say with certainty that no matter what I do, my desire to be of service to others in whatever way will never change.
God has given each of you a gift. Use it to help each other. This will show God’s loving-favor.
- 1 Peter 4:10
